Globe (8 June 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughter, Vanda visited Mr. and Mrs. Erland Engstrom recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Falch of Neenah, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Falch of Green Bay, called on Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lemke Saturday afternoon. They continued on to New Ulm, Minn., to attend the graduation at Doctor Martin Luther College.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., and his mother, Mrs. Martha Grap, drove to New Ulm Sunday afternoon to attend the graduation of their daughter, Susan, at Doctor Martin Luther College. The ceremony took place Monday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. John Baungardt and son, Russell, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Klochn of Marshfield, visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Northup of Chicago called at the Gordon Thoma, Louis and Herman Dux homes Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Hilda Thoma spent from Friday until Monday in Neillsville, at the Dan Patey home, with the children during the absence of their parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux and other relatives, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dux near Loyal. The gathering was held in honor of Mrs. Dux birthday. They also were supper guests.

Leland Northup of Beloit called on Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman and the Louis Dux family, Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sturtz, Sr., of Loyal, and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow, helped Dale Hagen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen, celebrate his 12th birthday. He was presented with 3 birthday cakes.

Miss Bertha Mitte of Milwaukee came Saturday to spend a week with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mitte and other relatives. Monday, Mr. Mitte entered the hospital in Marshfield for surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Huettenrauch of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grap, Sr., were recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Jr.
