Morrison, Patricia (30 JULY 1960)

United Church of Christ, Greenwood was the setting for the wedding Miss Patricia Ann Morrison, Greenwood and Richard Harry Schlinsog of Loyal on Saturday July 30. The Rev. Orval Egbert performed the 7:30 p.m. ceremony before an altar decorated with pink and white garden flowers. Miss Tieman sang “Because” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison, Greenwood and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schlinsog, Loyal.

As Miss Morrison was given in marriage by her father she wore a gown fashioned of Chantilly lace with a scoop neckline trimmed with seed pearls and long tapered sleeves. Her silk illusion veil of finger-tip length was held to a crown trimmed with pearls and sequins and she carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and stephanotis with ivy.

Miss Ardith McPherson came from Odessa, Texas to be her sister’s maid of honor and Miss Carol Liebzeit of Greenwood was the bridesmaid. They wore dresses of pink nylon organza over taffeta in ballerina length and carried baskets of white daisies and pink sweetheart roses.

Best man was Ted Schlinsog, Loyal, brother of the groom. Lee Cook of Loyal was the goomsman. The brother of the bride and groom, Larry Morrison of Chippewa Falls and William Schlinsog, Richland Center were the ushers.

A reception was held in the church dining hall.

Mrs. Schlinsog graduated from Greenwood High School and Eau Claire Beauty School and has been employed in Thorp. Her husband graduated from Loyal High School and is a student at DeVry Technical Institute.

The newlyweds will reside in Chicago, Illinois after a wedding trip into northern Wisconsin.
