Boehning, Georgianna (? AUG 1960)

The Rev. W. R. Krueger officiated at the 2 o’clock ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer in which Miss Georgianna Lee Boehning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boehning, route 1, Loyal and Arthur Oelrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Oelrich, route 1, Spencer were married. Joyce Boehning played the organ while Nancy Karau sang, “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O Perfect Love”. The altar was decorated with garden flowers.

Miss Boehning was presented in marriage by her father and wore a floor length dress of ice blue net over taffeta. The bodice was of lace with long sleeves pointed over the wrists. She had a flower-petaled head piece with a shoulder length veil and carried a bouquet of American beauty roses and lily of the valley.

Miss Elizabeth Boehning was her sister’s maid of honor and Miss Lucille Pischer, Loyal was bridesmaid. Each wore dresses of ice blue net over taffeta in ballerina length and carried American beauty roses in a fan shape.

The groom’s attendants were Ray Oelrich, Marshfield, brother of the groom and Euugene Endries of Spencer. Arthur Boehning and Walter Luepke did the ushering.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents, supper was served to 140 guests at the church parlor and a dance was held at Bruno’s Supper Club.

The bride graduated from Loyal High School and the groom from Spencer High School. He is employed at Pathfinder Mobile Home Inc. After the honeymoon trip the couple will live in Spencer.
