Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Schneider and children, and Conrad Jacobi spent Wednesday evening of last week at M. Dorst’s.

A surprise party was planned in honor of Miss Edna Phips’ 19th birthday Thursday evening. About 50 of her friends enjoyed the evening with her.

Mrs. Loren Hales, Ella Hales, Allie Root, Edna and Esther Phipps, Freda Wierenzenski, Neil and Elsie Dorst spent Friday evening practicing songs at W. J. Davis’.

Gardening and house cleaning are the order of the day with this pleasant weather.

Miss Edna Phipps entertained the young ladies’ birthday club Friday afternoon. Miss Sarah Davis joined the Circle.

A number of young people from this vicinity attended club meeting at John Lynn’s Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis and daughters Sara and Ursula spent Sunday evening at N. Wierenzinski’s.

A committee meeting of the Heathville club was held at the Dorst home Sunday afternoon.

M. Dorst and family spent Sunday evening at Lem Curtis’ at Heathville.

Rev. and Mrs. Crow and children spent Tuesday afternoon at W.J. Davis’.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Phipps and daughters spent Tuesday evening at Orin Montgomery’s.

Mr. Arthur Luatenbach and Miss Neil Dorst autoed to Loyal Wednesday morning, where they attended the wedding of his cousin Wm. Breseman and Alma Pieper. They acted as groomsman and bridesmaid.
