Funeral services were held in the Loyal Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 20 for Miss Nettie Welsh. The Rev. Wendell Bennetts was officiant.

Pallbearers were Ray Prior, Clyde Grambsch, Hugh Darton, William A. Theisen, Neil Johnston and Roy Thomas, all former pupils of Miss Welsh.

The hymns were “The End of the Way” and “The Sweet Bye and Bye,” sung by Mrs. M.W. Erickson and Mrs. G.W. Nelson, with Mrs. Byron Zepplin as organist.

Among the relatives and friends who came from out of town to attend the funeral were William Welsh of Wibaux, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Mack Kehoe of Menomonee Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hilt of Marshfield; Miss Hilda Hartman and Mrs. Ida Soliday, Phillips; Maurice Thompson, Abbotsford; Mrs. Hugo Roesler, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. John Karau, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ziegler, Stratford; Gerald Jacobson and Homer Smith, Marshfield.
