Perry, Evelyn (27 December 1900 - 28 January 1967)

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist Church in Humbird for Mrs. Thomas Perry, 66, of Humbird, who died Saturday in Neillsville. The Rev. Ralph Walker of Augusta officiated and burial was made in the Mentor Cemetery.

Mrs. Perry, the former Evelyn Squires, was born December 27, 1900, in Humbird, daughter of the late George and Nina (Hall) Squires. Her marriage to Thomas William Perry took place March 24, 1919, in Humbird.

She is survived by her husband; four children, Mrs. Martin (Vivian) Hanke of Vesper, Mrs. Franklin (Beatrice) Mitner of Richfield, Richard Perry of Granton and Harvey Perry of Anadarko, Okla. Other survivors include: five sisters, Mrs. Fred (Nellie) Rupnow of Humbird, Mrs. Walter (Mabel) Aumann of Neillsville, Mrs. Raymond (Nina) Schlinsog of Granton, Mrs. Walter (Alice) Evans of Milwaukee and Mrs. George L. (Margaret) Luebke of Cudahy; a brother, Raymond Squires of Milwaukee; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Perry was a member of the Methodist Church in Humbird.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.

Funeral services were conducted February 1 from the Humbird Methodist Church for Mrs. Thomas Perry, 66, who died January 28. The Rev. Walker of Augusta officiated and burial was made in the Mentor Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Jake, Lewis and Levi Fitzmaurice, Fred Rupnow, A. A. Allen, and Russell O’Leary.

Singers were Mrs. Gorden Gearing and Mrs. Keith Johnson, who sang “Rock of Ages” and “In the Garden” accompanied by Mrs. Edith Smith.

People coming from away to attend were: E. Elmhorst, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perry and family and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schlinsog of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hanke and family of Vesper; Mrs. Franklin Mitner of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Perry and family of Anadarko, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Squires of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. George Luebke of Cudahy; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hines of Lockport, Ind.; Mrs. George Michels of Alma Center; Mr. and Mrs. John Perry of Elgin, Ill.; Wayne Perry of Richland Center; Mr. and Mrs. Louie Christensen of Hastings, Minn.; Steve and Ricky Perry of McGregor, Minn.
