Telford, Vilas W. (10 May 1902 - 17 January 1967)
Services were held from
St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp for Vilas W. Telford, 64, on January 19.
Father Brockman officiated at a 10 o’clock mass.
Mr. Telford died in a
hospital in Marshfield on January 17 after being in ill health for the past
year. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Telford was born May
10, 1902, in the Town of Reseburg, to Robert and Delia Telford.
He is
survived by his wife, Florence; and three children, Robert of Milwaukee, Mrs.
Frank (Shirley) Wittek of Withee, and Donald of Eau Claire. Also surviving are
his mother, Mrs. Delia Telford of Thorp; two brothers, George of Owen and
Raymond of Friendship; and six grandchildren.
