Carlson, Rita Ann (Marriage - 19 December 1966)

The Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery, Minn. was the scene December 19 of the wedding of Miss Rita Ann Carlson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Carlson of Montgomery, Minn., and Dennis James Quicker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert H. Quicker of Neillsville. Fifty-five guests witnessed the double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Fr. Tomak.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, entered the church attired in a knit three-piece, ivory wool, waltz length suit. A crocheted lace jacket accented her bridal attire. Her bridal flowers were white baby orchids and yellow roses.

Miss Mary Carlson was her sister’s maid-of honor.

Donald Quicker, a brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Hubert Quicker, Jr., of Marshfield, and Carl Carlson of St. Paul, Minn. The guests attended a reception in New Prague, Minn.

The bride, who has attended the University of Minnesota for two and one-half years, will continue her education.

Mr. Quicker has attended the University of Minnesota for three and one-half years and presently is in officer’s training, Army engineers, at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Following a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Quicker will reside in the Washington D.C. area.

Those attending the wedding from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Hubert H. Quicker, Sr., and son, Donald, of Neillsville; and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert H. Quicker, Jr., of Marshfield.
