Christianson, Blanche (5 NOV 1914)

Last Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. Brandt united in marriage Henry Miller and Miss Blanche Christianson at the Lutheran church. The bride and groom were attended by Elsie Miller and Al Christianson. The bride wore a gown of light blue messaline and the bridesmaid wore dark blue messaline. A wedding supper and celebration of the event was held at the home of the groom’s parents south of town.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and is a young man of many exceptionally good qualities. He is capable and industrious and a very good farmer. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Christianson of Pine Valley. She is a young lady who is held in high esteem in this community for she is endowed with all the qualities which go to make up a capable wife and helpmate. The young couple are now at the home of the groom’s parents, but will soon take up housekeeping on the groom’s farm, which has been known as “Stronghurst.” The best wishes of their friends are cordially extended to them.

Gust Steffen and wife of Hillsboro and Wm. Malone and wife of Wonewoc were here for the wedding.
