Error in Report of Legal Decision (5 NOV 1914)

Last week in reporting the decision of Judge Henry Lebeis in the matter of the bills of Hixon Mead, James Connor, Wm. Shoch and Jos. Klouda against the estate of M.D. Garrison, the Times dropped a cipher in stating the amount given to Hixon Mead. The amount should have been $3,000 instead of $300. Judge Schoengarth called Judge Lebeis to act upon the matter owing to the fact that he had been present at the scene of the accident the day following and heard much of the talk attendant, not knowing that he might be asked to render a decision in the case. He therefore called Judge Lebeis to render a decision. Mr. Mead spent Saturday here, but would make no statement concerning the decision.
