Miss Anna Hankey arrived home from Chicago Tuesday morning, after an absence of 6 months with friends in that place.

Mrs. Aug. Dankemyer visited her mother Mrs. Hankey last Wednesday.

Miss Anna Sternitzky went to Reedsburg Friday to visit her sister, Mrs. Hasz.

Mr. and Mrs. H.C.F. Witt and little daughter left the latter part of last week for Chilton, Wis., where they will attend a wedding of Mr. Witt’s sister.

Little Georgie Riedel celebrated his birthday Sunday. Several of his friends were invited to enjoy the occasion.

Mrs. R.T. Washburn was shopping in Neillsville on Friday.

Aug. Walters of Lindsey, on his way back from Missouri, stopped to exchange greetings with R.T. Washburn and showed him wheat and rye he brought back from there, waist high and all headed. He says crops were fine in that state.

Miss Mable Scholtz is visiting her sister Mrs. Martin Wilson of Ebbe this week.

Mrs. Williams went to Marshfield last week and her daughter Freda returned with her and will be at home for a while.

Mr. and Mrs. K. McInnis have moved in the house vacated by Geo. R. Brooks.

Mrs. Clement Montag went to Neillsville on business Friday.

Hazel Washburn and Gladys Ure spent Saturday and Sunday at home.
