Central Clark County (10 November 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nystad of Loyal have returned from a week’s visit with relatives in Colfax and Eau Claire.

Recent weekend guests at the Bob Bertz home in Loyal were Mrs. Bertz’s brother, Melvin Ayers, and family. Recent supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ayers and family of Neillsville.

Miss Sharon McGuire of Waseca, Minn., who spent a week with her sister, Mrs. William Hesse, in Loyal has returned home.

The Rev. and Mrs. Hagen of Marshfield were hosts to a meeting of Methodist ministers and their wives November 3.

Philip Capelle of Loyal has been a surgical patient in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Anderson and sons of Augusta were recent visitors at the J. R. Colby home in Loyal.

Mrs. Delbert Holmes of Hancock and Arleigh Davis of Verona spent a week at the Otto Schmidtke home in the Town of York.

Recent guests at the Leo Kronberger home in the Town of York included Mr. and Mrs. Merton Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Benedict. Mr. and Mrs. Dais, who spent the summer near Cameron, are planning to leave soon to spend the winter in Mesa, Ariz.

Recent Sunday dinner guests at the Thomas Loos home in Loyal, in honor of the baptism of their son, David Thomas, were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller and Mardell, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Loos and family, and the sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rondorf and Douglas.

Erwin Gempeler, who recently returned from Europe where he had been employed by an American company, spent a week in Loyal with his mother, Mrs. Werner Gempeler. He has returned to Silver Springs, Md.

The Rev. and Mrs. John G. Langholz of Sheldon, Ia., were recent guests at the Harold Dahl home in Loyal. The Rev. Mr. Langholz was pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal several years ago.

Mrs. Henry Anderegg has returned to Loyal from a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Olstinski in Racine, and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bassett in Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Moller and family in St. Louis, Mo.

Kenneth Bauer and son, Scotty, of Monroe spent a weekend with their father and grandfather, Roland Bauer, who is a patient in a Marshfield hospital. Mr. Bauer was injured in a tractor accident. Others visiting him included Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mondloch of New Richmond, and Lonnie, Wayne and Jim Seefluth of Wisconsin Rapids. They also were guests at the Bauer home in Loyal.
