Mrs. Marie Kubat has been a patient in Memorial Hospital, where she has been
receiving medical care.
Mrs. Frank Sturgeon of Anaheim, Calif., is a
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart. Mrs. Sturgeon recently retuned from an
extended visit with her son, Ray Gault, who has been stationed in Germany with
the armed forces. He has been transferred to Fort Bragg, N. C., before going to
Vietnam in December. Mrs. Sturgeon also visited for four months with another
son, Steve Gault, in Bristol, R. I., and plans to visit other children before
returning home.
Mr. and Mrs. Argil Stigen of Chicago visited last weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gress and family, with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Schultz and
Mr. and Mrs. Nordahl Stigen of Globe.
Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Johnson and Mr.
and Mrs. Jerry Johnson attended the funeral of Mrs. Johnson’s mother, Mrs. Lon
Kezar, in Mondovi Tuesday.
Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bardell
were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Parrett of Wisconsin Rapids. They also visited Miss
Gladys Parrett.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hemp of La Crosse visited her
brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMert, Sunday evening. Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Foster of Hatfield also were guests.
Augie Jo Olson, who
attends Stout State University, and her roommate, Miss Linda Siggelkow, spent
the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Olson and family. The Olsons
took the girls back Sunday.
Mrs. Albert Volk of Madison spent last week
visiting her brothers, Frank of Willard, and the Tony Perushek family in
Neillsville, and her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dale D. Schultz.
