Upon awaking from our slumber last Wednesday morning we found that old mother earth had changed colors again, from green to white. About 6 inches of the beautiful stuff had fallen during the night.

Frank Lueck has had his lath mill in operation for the past few days.

Mrs. Ida Pease spent last Tuesday with Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler.

Johan Lastofka has given his home a new roof.

Mrs. Annie O’Brien, who has been sick with pneumonia, is improving.

Percy Northup and family have moved onto the Frank Hauck farm near the Imig Schoohouse in Weston. Percy had the misfortune to lose one of his cows before he moved.

Earl Diercks has been real sick with pneumonia. Our last reports from him indicated that his condition was somewhat better. We hope Carl will soon be up and around again.

C.M. Peck had the wood saw last Thursday and Friday so now his hired man has a fine job of splitting and piling wood.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wiskow have moved to Neillsville where Wiskow has employment in the condensary.

We understand the Wentrich cream wagon will again make the rounds beginning about May 1st. It seem that a number of farmers here favor the creamery to the condensary, on account of the high price of butter.

Martin O’Brien is busy making window frames for the basement of his son Will’s new barn.

H.W. Huntley and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. John Lastofka.
