Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna Brown
Burial Was Made In Spencer Cemetery; Was Member of Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Brown, who passed away at her home in the village of Spencer Tuesday evening of last week, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Brown home, the Rev. Ellery J. Beal of Marshfield, pastor of the Spencer Methodist church, officiating. Interment was made in the Spencer cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Brown, nee Ewalt, was born Dec. 19, 1868, in Two Rivers, and when a child moved with her parents to a farm north of the village of Spencer where she lived until 15 years ago. Since that time she had resided in the village. She was married to Charles Brown in Spencer 48 years ago, and he preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1937. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Garret (Bessie) Fenhouse and Mrs. Roger (Minerva) Holterman, both of Spencer; a son, Harold Brown of Stevens Point; three brothers, Fred, William and Albert Ewalt of Unity, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wieland of Unity and Mrs. Emma Schneider of Sheboygan, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Ladies Aid society of the Methodist church.

Pall bearers were Harry Bodle, Harry Prehn, Glen Damon, Gus Margelowsky, Spence Graves, and Guy Ingham. Those in charge of the flowers were Mesdames G. Ingham, H. Siemers, H. Prehn, E. Karau, Anna Fredricks and H. Fenner.
