Miss Bertha Helm is spending the week with her aunt, Mrs. Louis Moh.

Mrs. R.T. Washburn went to Neillsville Monday.

On Saturday evening a large number of Mrs. Henry Sternitzky’s friends, laden with good things to eat, walked in on her and gave her a surprise party in honor of her birthday. The evening was most enjoyably spent with music and old time games.

Mrs. Maggie Wyland and little daughter Dorothy of Marshfield visited her sister, Mrs. Alter Schmitz, last week.

Mrs. Keuer of Star Corners is visiting her daughter Mrs. Fred Hankey this week.

John Martin returned from Waukesha Saturday where he had been taking treatments for rheumatism.

Mrs. Aug. Arndt and two children, and Mrs. Chas. Sherrett of Neillsville visited the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky.

Geo. Brooks and family, with all of their belongings, have moved to Morristown, S.D. His son Roy left Friday with a car of household goods and seven horses. George went Sunday and Mrs. Brooks went to Greenwood to visit her brother Henry Hartson and family, and will leave from there next Sunday for South Dakota. It is with regret we see them take their departure. They leave many friends in this place who wish them success in this move.

Arthur Opelt of the town of Levis was a business caller in Lynn Monday.

Mrs. Lenhardt visited friends in Marshfield Monday.

Ernest Hankey has been on the sick list for several days.
