Miss Elizabeth E. Schwantes, daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schwantes, exchanged vows with Gordon R. Schmoll, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schmoll of Marshfield, at a 2 o’clock ceremony performed on Oct. 17 in the parsonage of the Trinity Lutheran church in Spencer, the Rev. Stapel officiating.

Miss LaVeeda Piguet and Wm. Schmoll both of Marshfield, were the attendants. The bride wore a rose satin formal gown with a rose wreath and shoulder veil for the occasion. Her maid of honor wore a yellow dress, and both had shoulder corsages. Mrs. Schwantes was attired in a flowered blue crepe dress and the mother of the groom wore navy. Both had corsages pinned to their shoulders.

Approximately 50 relatives and friends were entertained at a 7 o’clock dinner at the home of the bride’s parents, decorated in pink and blue streamers and silver bells. The groom is employed in Marshfield.
