Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Milwaukee was the setting for the 9 a.m. Nuptial High Mass Saturday, April 23 at which time the marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Mary Jean Fraiser & Ronald Joseph Boehnen. The Rev. John Kujawa officiated.

The bride wore a gown of silk organza with summer taffeta appliqués. Her fingertip veil of illusion was held by a crown of pearls and she carried a bouquet of white butterfly orchids, white carnations, and an ivy drop. She was given in marriage by Mr. Ludwig Roecker, a family friend.

Miss Margaret Metz of Milwaukee was maid of honor and for her bridesmaids the bride chose sisters of the groom. Miss Kathleen Boehnen and Miss Marlene Boehnen. The bride’s attendants wore gowns of silk organza in periwinkle blue with white taffeta cummerbunds. Each carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses with an ivy drop.

Larry Boehnen was his brother’s best man & groomsmen were Timothy Klein and Gordon Haase of Milwaukee.

A breakfast followed the ceremony served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Boehnen and a reception was given at the Al-Mar in Milwuakee.

The couple will reside at 3373 S. 13th St. Milwaukee.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Boehnen of Loyal.

Attending the ceremony were Mrs. Boehnen, four daughters, and son, Paul. Due to ill health, Mr. Boehnen could not attend.
