Nuptial rites united Marta A. Nowak and George S. Adam in marriagebin RTrinity Lutheran Church, at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. V. A. Ganz officiating. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nowak, Loyal, Rt. 1, and Mr. and Mrs. George Adam, Hortonville, Rt 2.

The groom’s father sang the “Lord’s Prayer”. Miss Carol Noeldner was organist.

Miss Nowak was presented for marriage by her father. Her wedding dress was a white floor length gown with a whisper train and skirt of organza with lace inserts. The lace bodice was styled with a scalloped neckline and long sleeves and her shoulder length veil was attached to a pearl headpiece.

Glenna Nowak of Loyal was maid of honor and Janice Zeinert of Whittenberg and Althea Maraszek of Hortonville were bridesmaids. The bridal attendants wore pastel gowns of pink, yellow, and green and carried bouquets of carnations in white and matching colors.

The groom’s best man was Ronnie McKeever of Hortonville and groomsmen were John Nowak of Loyal and Marvin Maraszek of Hortonville. Ushers were Donald Hartman of Medford and Jay Zimmerman of Milwaukee.

A reception was held at Braun’s Bowling Alley from 3 to 4:30 and a dance in the evening was at the Colby Park.

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and has been employed in Appleton by the Wisconsin Telephone Company. The groom is a graduate of the Hortonville High School and is employed by the Gilbert Paper Co. in Menasha.

When the couple return from a honeymoon at Niagara Falls they will make their home at Hortonville, Rt. 2.

Guests from Janesville, Milwaukee, Seymor, Hortonville, Appleton, Richland Center, Green Bay, Elmwood and Loyal were present for the wedding.
