Garbarski, Anton G. (25 NOV 1905 - 15 JUN 1961)

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday, June 19, at 10 a.m. for Anton Garbarski, 55, who died suddenly of cerebral hemorrhage at Jim Falls, on Thursday, June 15, 1961. Father Ed Masalewicz officiated at the services and burial was in St. Hedwig’s New Cemetery.

Pallbearers were his nephews, Edward Garbarski, Leonard Lemanski, Joseph Grajkowski, Leon Grajkowski, and Raymond Grajkowski.

Anton Garbarski was born Nov. 25, 1905 in the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). On Sept. 30, 1930 he united in marriage to Marian Lemanski at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin, Wis.

Surviving are his wife, Marian, son Gerald, daughter Cynthia, mother, Mrs. Joanne Garbarski, five brothers, Joseph, Milwaukee; Stanley, Alex, Roman, Chicago; Walter, Marshfield; one sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Grajkowski. One sister, Frances, preceded him in death.
