Lindquist, Nancy (10 JUN 1961)

Nancy Lindquist, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lindquist, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Norbert Teclaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Teclaw of Thorp. Saturday morning at 10:30, June 10th, 1961 at St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church, Owen, Wis. Rev. John English officiated at the double ring nuptial ceremony.

For her wedding the bride chose white peau de soie fashioned princess style with train detailed with lace rose appliques. Her appliqued rose crown caught her waltz length veil. She carried a prayer book with three long stemmed roses.

Ingrid Lindquist, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore pink embroidered eyelet and matching headband. She carried three long stemmed pink roses.

Ronald Neste, Beaver Dam, a friend of the groom, was best man.

John Lindquist and Richard Teclaw, Eau Claire, brothers of the bride and groom respectively, were ushers.

Immediately after the ceremony a dinner was served for relatives and friends in the church parlors and a reception was held in the afternoon in the parish hall from 2:00 to 4:00.

The bride is a graduate of St. Olaf College at Northfield, Minn., and has been music supervisor in the elementary schools at Neenah, Wis. The groom is a graduate of Wis. State College at River Falls and is teaching at Beaver Dam where the couple will reside.

Pre-nuptial showers were: Miscellaneous given by Mrs. Wm. Parks and Mrs. Chester Johnson. A personal shower was given by Miss Shirley Szech of Menasha, and a dinner was given by the relatives at Appleton, Wis.
