On Saturday morning, January 2, Miss Genevieve Annette Pieper exchanged marriage vows with George A. Bentzler.

The Rev. Norbert King officiated at the 9:30 o’clock ceremony in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, for the daughter of Mrs. Sophie Pieper, Milwaukee, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler, Sr., Loyal. Music was provided by St. Anthony’s choir.

For her wedding the bride chose a gown of white taffeta styled with a chapel train and long pointed sleeves. Her finger tip eil was attached to a crwon of pearls, a gift of the groom. Her flowers were pink and white carnations and pink roses.

Mrs. George Bentzler Sr. attended the wedding of her son in a navy blue dress and her corsage was of pink and white carnations.

A wedding dinner and supper was served at St. Anthony’s church hall and a reception was held in the party room at Braun’s Bowling Alley.

Both the bride and groom attended St. Anthony’s Catholic school. The bride is employed by the Johnston Cook Co., Milwaukee, and the groom by American Motors Corp. They will live at 3417 A. W. Michigan, Milwaukee.
