St. Mary of Assumption Polish National Church at Lublin was the setting for the wedding of Miss Mary Ann Kryzanski and Edward J. Beino, Saturday, May 6, 1961. The Rev. Martin H. Wachna officiated at the 10 a.m. ceremony and nuptial Mass.

Music for the wedding was provided by Mrs. Stanley Hucker and Miss Mary Knusta singing, “Mother at Your Feet is Kneeling.” The Church altar held bouquets of carnations in rainbow colors.

Parents of the bride and groom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kryzanski Jr., Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. Stella Bieno, route 2, Thorp. Mr. Kryzanski Jr. presented his daughter in marriage.

For her wedding the bride wore a silk organza and Chantilly lace dress fashioned with a chapel sweep skirt designed with silk organza panels in front and back, appliqued with Chantilly lace. The Sabrina neckline on the Basque bodice was trimmed with iridescents and seed pearls. Her princess crown of crystals and rhinestones held a ballerina length veil of English illusion. She carried a bouquet of pink gladioli and white roses.

Miss Suzanne Burmeister of Cedarburg was maid of honor in the wedding party and Miss Delores Luzinski, Miss Sharon Ruda, Miss Kath Szemraj and Miss Betty Staniec, all of Thorp, were bridesmaids.

Their dresses were styled of nylon organza over taffeta in floor length with fitted bodices and scoop necklins. Short shirred velvet bows trimmed the sleeves and bustle. The dresses were in orchid, Nile green, pink, shrimp and maize colors, and were worn with demi-crowns of organge blossom clusters and braid with circular veils. They carried carnations bouquets in colors matching their dresses.

The groom’s attendants were Alan Natz, Thorp, as best man, and groomsmen, James Wisz and Conrad Szymoniak, both of Chicago, and Roger Szymoniak of Thorp.

Ushering wedding guests were Irwin Bieno and Walter Rude.

Wedding day events were dinner for 100 guests and supper for 400 guests, served in the P.N.A. Hall where the dance in the evening was also held.

Mrs. Bieno is a graduate of Thorp High School and has been employed by the Thorp Finance Corp. at Thorp. Her husband is a graduate of Thorp High School and attended one year at Wis. State College at Eau Claire. He is a farmer and they will make their home on a farm near Thorp.
