Janisewski, Julia (11 JUL 1907 - 14 MAR 1961) Mrs.
Julia Janisewski, a resident of Route 1, Boyd, passed away at her home at 8:10
Tuesday evening after a lingering illness. She
was born at Newark, N.J., July 11, 1807, the daughter of the late William and
Christina Palmer. The
family moved to the Town of Colburn, Huron community in 1907. She was united in
marriage with John Janisewski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stanley, June 16,
1923. She lived in Elmira, N.Y. until returning to a farm in the Huron area
where she had since resided.
Surviving is her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Chester (Helen) Dacvyk, Shreveport,
La., and one granddaughter, Janice. Also surviving are three brothers, Jack
Palmer, Chicago; William Palmer, Boyd, and George Palmer, Kenosha; five sisters,
Mrs. John (Mame) Hodowanic, Chicago; Mrs. C. (Lucille) Wilbeck, Kenosha; Mrs.
Bruno (Josephine) Bandor, Stanley; Mrs. William (Jennie) Hodowanic, Gilman, and
Mrs. Everett (Sophie) Mueller, Chippewa Falls.
