Moeller, Marla (Marriage - 4 June 1966)

 

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sherwood was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Marla Moeller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moeller of rural Pittsville and Allen A. Todd, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Todd, Sr., of Lake Geneva. The Rev. F. C. Benecke of the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton performed the ceremony before an altar graced with bouquets of lilacs and iris.

 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a street-length gown of sheer nylon. The fitted bodice was fashioned with lace top and long sleeves. Her shoulder-length veil was attached to a bead crown.  She carried a bouquet of red miniature tea roses and white carnations, from which white satin ribbons flowed.

 

Miss Mickie Moeller, maid of honor wore a sheer blue nylon dress. Her bouquet was made up of blue and white carnations.  Boyd Plummer of Neillsville was bestman.

 

A reception followed.  Mrs. Dean Reece of New Providence, Ia., served as hostess.  Mrs. Al Moeller helped with the cutting of the cake.  Serving as waitresses were Paula Schafer, Janet Fluegel, and Carol Goejeske of Vesper, Neda Schafer of Rockford, Ill., and Carol Reece of New Providence, Ia.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Todd are graduates of Pittsville High School, in 1960 and 1965 respectively.

 

Among those from away attending were: Mrs. Dean Reece and Carol of New Providence, Ia.; Mrs. Emma Kewatt of Eldora, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Kiven Lainberger of Reeseville; Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Lainberger of Fox Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Schafer and Neda of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Seeford of Winnebago, Ill.; and Miss Carol Goejeske of Vesper.
