The old barn on Louis Hantke’s place was torn down last week by A. Wilding, F. Matousek and A. Short.  The latter bought it.

 

Mrs. Matousek was called to Chicago last week by the death of a brother.

 

The way L. Bender’s hound came home, he looked as if her had been in prison.

 

Ed Short helped his brother Art haul timbers Friday and Saturday.

 

Aug. Nickel lost a cow last week.

 

Struebings have moved back on their old place.

 

The basket social in the Linton District last Friday was a grand success.

 

Art Short and John Galbreath both had hauling bees last week.

 

T.M. Winters was seen breaking a colt last week.

 

Ruth Carter spent Saturday with the home folks.
