Kren, Judy Lynne (Marriage - 8 January 1966)

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville, uniting in marriage Miss Judy Lynne Kren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kren of Neillsville and Michael Richard Siebert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Siebert of Neillsville. The double ring ceremony, performed by the Rev. Bernard T. Kelly, took place before an altar graced with bouquets of red and white carnations, with fern leaves for a background.

The bride, who carried a bouquet of Fiji chrysanthemums and ivy, entered the church with her father.  She wore a floor length, white velvet dress styled with a chapel train.  The fitted bodice was accented with winter-lace sleeves. A crown type headpiece secured a shoulder-length illusion veil, with lace flowers bordering the bottom.

Miss Sandra Free of Oshkosh was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Sandra Siebert of Eau Claire and Mrs. Richard Kren of Watertown.

Serving as bestman was Tom Schaub of Norfolk, Va.  Groomsmen were Jim Schultz of Madison and Richard Kren of Watertown.  Ushers were Richard Tibbett and Jim Raine.

A reception and dinner was held in the American Legion Hall.  A rehearsal dinner was held at Steinie’s Club 10 Friday evening.

Both young people are graduates of the Neillsville High School. The bride is employed in Jefferson at Schweiger Industries.  Mr. Siebert also has attended Wisconsin State University-River Falls and at present is the assistant to director of industrial relations at the Schweiger plant in Jefferson.

They are residing at 413 S. 6th Street in Jefferson.
