On Tuesday, July 10, 1928, occurred the death, as a result of a paralytic stroke, of Albert Kuntz, a respected resident of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) for many years. He was born at Morrison, Brown Co., Wis., on Dec. 2, 1859, where he resided with his parents until he reached the age of twenty-one years. He then came tot he town of Edson, Chippewa Co., where he made his home for a period of five years, later moving to a farm in the town of Worden, Clark County, and about twenty years ago moved to this village. While still a resident of the town of Edson, he was united in marriage to Miss Augusta Berner, who with his four daughters, Mrs. Frank Graham of Thorp, Mrs. B. A. Leatherdale of Loyal, Mrs. George Witt of Muskego, Wis., Miss Augusta Kuntz of Milwaukee, and one son, Allie Kuntz of Thorp, survive; also one brother, Henry Kuntz of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Rauk of Boyd, Mrs. Ada Gloy of Green Bay and Mrs. Anna Lutz of Marshfield. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place on Thursday afternoon last from the Methodist Church, Wendell Bennetts officiating, interment following the services in the German Cemetery in the town of Worden.
