Abijah Eaton was the Warrantee of Sec. 26, Longwood Twp., Clark Co., WI. The Patentees were: Charles Wilshire, Josiah Tallmadge, John Finican and Thomas Emery. The 80 acres of property was issued to them at the Land Office in Eau Claire, 15 Jan 1867. Abijah Eaton was a Pvt. in Captain Carvey's Co., NY Milita, War of 1812 who enlisted 22 Feb 1813. He assigned his property to Josiah Tallmadge and he assigned it to Thomas Emery and him to Charles Wilshire.
