Justman, Augusta E. (1896 - 1981)


Augusta E. Justman, 85, of 410 W. Main St., Spencer, died at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1981, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer. Rev. David Ault officiated and burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jeffrey Keik, James Holman, Wilbur Buse, Kenneth Schwantes, Herman Schultz and Warren Justman. Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, handled arrangements.

Augusta Buse was born on Jan. 13, 1896, in the Town of Sherman, Clark County, to the late August and Emilia (nee Hinz) Buse.

She was married to Walter W. Justman on Feb. 1, 1919, in Spencer. They farmed and lived on a farm in the Town of Unity until Walter's death in 1972, when she moved to Spencer.

She was a member of st. John's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, where she held various offices.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Curtis (Annabelle) Keik of Townsend, Wis. and Mrs. Donald (Louise) Enger of Milwaukee two grandchildren two great0grandchildren and one brother, Emil Buse of Spencer.

Preceding her in death were her husband on Jan. 23, 1972 her parents one brother and four sisters.
