CELIA BERTHOLD
 

Celia Berthold, 92, Jordon, Minn., died Friday, Dec. 3, 1993, at the Valley View Nursing Home, Jordon, Minnesota. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 1993, at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. Duane Tominka and Curtiss Bauske officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Harold Brockhaus, Vern Marcott, Ted Clintsman, David Clintsman, Robert Beyer and Joel Zimmer. Honorary pallbearers were James Berthold, Steve Berthold and William Berthold.


Celia Ruth Clintsman was born May 10, 1901, in Loyal, Clark County, to Charles and Ellen (nee Barnett) Clintsman. She received her education in the Loyal area. She married Morris Berthold on June 28, 1924, in Iron Mountain, Mich. They farmed in the Willard area until 1963. She then moved to Minneapolis, Minn., where she was employed in various occupations. She entered the Valley View Nursing Home in Jordon, Minn., in Feb. 1972.


Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Lorraine) Lillyblad, Prior Lake, Minn. two sons, Donald (Nettie) Berthold, Greenwood and Victor (Winifred) Berthold, Backus, Minn. eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was precede in death by her husband, in June 1948 her parents' one son, Leonard three brothers two sisters and two great-grandchildren.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
