Eibergen, Will (1895 - 1980)


Funeral services for Will Eibergen, 85, of Granton, Clark County, were conducted by Rev. William Noble at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, at the United Methodist Church, Granton.


Mr. Eibergen died at about 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, 1980, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.


Grandsons served as pallbearers, and burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery.


Will Eibergen was born on June 26, 1895, in Veefkind and received his education in the Granton area.


He was married to Ella Hales on April 23, 1927, in Granton. They lived in Granton about one year after their marriage. They then moved to a farm in the Town of York and moved back to Granton in 1975.


He was assessor for the Town of York and was a member of the Granton Senior Citizens Club. He was also a veteran of World War I.


Survivors include one son, Richard of Granton one daughter, Diana Eibergen of Berkeley, Cal. And six grandchildren.


Preceding him in death were his wife on April 22, 1972 one granddaughter four brothers and three sisters.


Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, was in charge of arrangements.
