Larson, Michael T. (1959 - 1980)


Funeral services for Michael T. Larson, 20, of 110 North Main, Greenwood, Clark County, were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church Greenwood, at 11 a.m., Friday Sept. 26.


Mr. Larson died at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1980, of leukemia at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Officiating at the services were Rev. Jim Lesczynski, celebrant, and Rev. Michael Mertens, co-celebrant. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.


Michael Larson was born on Nov. 10, 1959 in Marshfield to Richard and Corrine (Nee Hare) Larson. He received his education at St. Mary's
Grade School and Greenwood High School, graduating in 1978.


On Aug. 4, 1979, he married Laurie Lesar at Willard.


He was employed as an accountant with his father at Larson's Bookkeeping Service. He was active in all sports, including baseball and he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.


Surviving are his wife, Laurie his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Richard Larson of Greenwood his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alf Larson of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Merril Hare of Greenwood his great-grandmother, Mrs. Olive Hare of Greenwood.

 Four brothers, Mark of Rochester, Minn., Jim of La Crosse, David in the U.S. Navy and Jon of Greenwood three sisters, Lisa of Milwaukee, Lynn of Greenwood and Laura of Greenwood.


A Wake was held at 8 p.m. on Sept. 25. Pallbearers were Randy Thomas, David Larson, Randy Stabnow, Randy Vesel, Dean Lesar and Greg Langreck. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
