Kokaly, Hannah P. (1906 - 1991)


Hannah P. Kokaly, 84, formerly of Willard, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 1991, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Madison. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 1991, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. Jim Lesczynski officiated and burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dan Boh, LaVerne Gregorich, William Boh, Larry Aschbrenner, Randy Aschbrenner, and Paul Hoppa.


Hannah P. Francel was born Oct. 27, 1906, in Ely, Minn., to frank and Johanna (nee Kozar) Francel. She married Anton Kokaly Oct. 19, 1940, in Willard. He preceded her in death in April 1948. They farmed in the town of Hendren. After her husband s death, she lived in Willard until moving to Madison in 1974. She had been at the home since 1982.


Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Aschbrenner, McFarland and Mrs. Paul (Marie) Hoppa, Sussex two sons, Anton Kokaly, Madison and William Kokaly, Willard six sisters, Mrs. Agnes Schnaitman, Scottsdale, Ariz. Mrs. Mary Butzen, Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Theresa Kranjc, Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Pauline Hribar, Lake Villa, Ill. Mrs. Josephine Koschak, Orange Park, Fla. and Mrs. Hedwig Klinke, Greenwood two brothers, John Francel, Neillsville and Paul Francel, Racine and five grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
