Elmhorst, Shirley A. (1949 - 1990)

Shirley A. Elmhorst, 41, Neillsville, died Friday, Oct. 12, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 15, 1990, at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. Douglas Bjerke officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Brother-in-laws served as pallbearers.

Shirley A. Scharf was born June 2, 1949, in the town of Grant, Clark County, to Elvin and Ilene (nee Schnable) Scharf. She received her education in Granton Public Schools. After school she worked at Auto Test in Neillsville for two years. She then married Paul Elmhorst in Minnesota. He survives. She attended Assembly of God Church, Neillsville.

Survivors include her husband her mother 11 children, Paul Elmhorst Jrs., Neillsville Earl Elmhorst, Neillsville and Joshua, Tom, Jacob, Sally, Elizabeth, Peter, Blaine, Robin and Cherl, all at home one sister, Mrs. Daniel (Linda) McAley, Greenwood and one brother, Ronald Scharf, Neillsville.

She is preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Jane.
