Dahl, Cora Mabel (1891 - 1951)
 

GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Mrs. Albert Dahl, 60, Greenwood, died in her sleep early this morning, July 20, 1951, at her home. Death was attributed to heart failure. She had been in failing health for the past two years.


Services have been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dahl home to be followed by services at 2 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, of which she was a member.


The Rev. Theodore Nelson will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will repose at the family home beginning Tuesday afternoon.


Mrs. Dahl, the former Cora Mabel Peterson, was born Sept. 21, 1891, at Montfort. She attended grad and high school at Montfort and was married there to Albert Dahl Feb. 14, 1912. They came to Greenwood to live 32 years ago.


Mrs. Dahl was active in church work, was past president of the Good Hope Ladies Aid Society, was a member of the church choir, an officer of the Royal Neighbors of America in Greenwood, and for many years was an officer of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Members of the Royal Neighbors camp and the Auxiliary to the American Legion will attend the services in a body.


Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Louis (Alice) Behrens, Greenwood two grandchildren, and three brothers, Irvin Peterson, Dodgeville George Peterson, Montfort, and Alvin Peterson, Iron Mountain, Mich.


She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
