Miller, Donald L. (1916 - 1952)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY
--Donald L. Miller, owner of the Christie General Store, died of cancer Monday, Aug. 17, 1952 at his home, after an extended illness. He was 36 years old.


Serices will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church here, the Rev. Charles Koch officiating. Burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the Stabnow Funeral Home from noon Wednesday until noon Thursday.


A native of Greenwood, Mr. Miller had lived in this vicinity all his life. He operated the Christie store the past 7 years.


His wife is the former Anita Hohl, Greenwood. Other survivors are two children, Sandra, 9, and Bruce, 4, a brother, Delbert, Blanchardville and a sister, Mrs. Arleigh (Eva) Olson.
His father, George, died last January.
