Syth, Amelia Johanna (1896 - 1956)


GREENWOOD
--Mrs. Arthur Syth 60, route 1, Greenwood, Clark County, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1956, at her home of a heart attack. The former Amelia Johanna Toburen, she was a lifetime resident of the area.


The body will lie in state at the Syth home, where funeral rites will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, followed by services at 2 o'clock at Grace Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ethel Nulton officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Stabnow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Syth was born in the Town of Mead May 12, 1896, and received her education in Clark County schools. After their marriage April 16, 1919, at Wausau, she and her husband settled on their present farm 4 miles south of here. She was currently vice president of the Women's Society of Christian Service of her church.


She is survived by her husband one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Alberta) Cunningham, Wausau a sister, Mrs. Nels (Louise) Fulsang, Chicago a brother, Gust, Wausau and two granddaughters, Jan and (the rest of my copy was cut off)
