GREENWOOD
--Funeral services were held in Eau Claire Monday afternoon for a former Greenwood, Clark County resident, Mrs. Henry Dittner, 66, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gordon Walker, in Osseo Interment was made in Rest Haven Garden, Eau Claire, following rites at the Conservation Bible Church.


The former Sarah Cole was born July 10, 1891, in West Lima, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. B.A. Cole. Later the family moved to Butler, Clark County, a community north of here, where she was married to Mr. Dittner June 11, 1919, at her parent's home. The couple resided in various towns in Clark Chippewa and Eau Claire Counties after their marriage.


Survivors include the widower three children, Mrs. Margaret Walker, Osseo Maynard and Norman Dittner, both of Eau Claire three sisters, Mrs. George (Mary) Steinhaus, Cornell, Mrs. Bethel Boechman, Eau Claire, and Mrs. Leonard (Lois) Johnson, Greenwood and nine grandchildren. One brother, Bird Cole, preceded her in death.
