MRS. AGNES PROCK


Greenwood--Mrs. Agnes Prock, 86, died Thursday morning, Jan. 8, 1976 at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of the Neillsville Memorial Home the past six months.
Rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville, with the Rev. Joseph N. Henseler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.


Friends may call from 2 9 p.m. Sunday at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, where a general rosary service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday.


The former Agnes Quast was born Sept. 4, 1889, in Jefferson and came with her parents to Clark County, locating on a farm in Eaton Township. After her marriage to Linus Prock on June 7, 1911, at Greenwood, the couple moved to Globe and operated a store there for 55 years. They retired in 1955 and moved to Neillsville.


The Procks celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 1966 and their 60th anniversary in 1971. Mr. Prock died May 14, 1973.


She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women, Catholic Knights and American Legion Auxiliary.


Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James (Lucille) McConnell, Greenwood; and Mrs. John (Dolores) McKenzie, Bettendorf, Iowa; a son, Harold, Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Florence Pauly, Milwaukee; a brother, John Quast, Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
