WALTER J. SCHWARZE


Greenwood--Services have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ for Walter John Schwarze, 63, a lifelong resident of Greenwood, Clark County, who died unexpectedly at his home at 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 1974. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.


The Rev. Pacifico Camarin, pastor, will officiate at the Tuesday service, with burial to follow in West Side Cemetery.


Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home beginning this afternoon (Monday) and at the church from 11 a.m. Tuesday until service time.


Born Jan. 26, 1911, in the Town of Warner, Mr. Schwarze attended the former Decker School and the Greenwood High School. After his marriage to the former Margaret Heller on June 12, 19338, at Stratford, the couple operated a farm 5 miles northwest of Greenwood.


He is survived by his wife, two sons, Roger, at home, and Orville, Spencer a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Janet) Olson, Milwaukee a sister, Mrs. Lucille Rohde, Greenwood and five grandchildren.


A brother preceded hi in death.


He was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and had served on the church board.
