N. A. ENDERS DIES ON TUESDAY NIGHT
SERVICES FOR RETIRED GREENWOOD FARMER TO BE CONDUCTED TUESDAY


Greenwood--Nicholas A. Enders, 78, who came to Greenwood, Clark County, to farm in 1900, died at 9:30 o'clock last night, Mar. 22, 1949 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolf, Route 1, Greenwood, 5 miles southeast of Greenwood, with whom he had been residing since retiring from farming in 1929. Mrs. Wolf is his niece.


The body will lie in state at the Schiller Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held Thursday evening. On Friday afternoon it will be taken to the Joseph Wolf home to lie in state until the time of the funeral services.


The Rev. J. J. Novak will officiate at the Requiem High Mass Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. He was a charter member of St. Mary's Church.


Nicholas Andrew Enders, who was unmarried, was born in Plum City Feb. 12, 1871. After coming to Greenwood from Plum City in 1900, he farmed for 13 years south of Greenwood and for 18 years 2 miles northeast of Greenwood.


Surviving is a brother, Anthony, Libby, Mont. Four brothers, John, Frank, Peter, and Joseph, and three sisters, Marty, Katherine, and Anna, preceded him in death.
