FRANK EHLERS PASSES AWAY


Frank Ehlers
, son of Frank (Franz) Ernst Ehlers were Heinrich and Friederike Wilhelmine Burgemeister Ehlers, was born in Germany March 3, 1857 and passed away at 4:00 o'clock, Wednesday morning, Feb. 8, 1939 at his home 6 miles southeast of Greenwood, Clark County. The cause of his death was pneumonia. He had been in poor health for several months and seriously ill for three weeks.


He is survived by his wife, one son Alvin and three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Ella) Fabian, Mrs. Emil (Martha) Fabian, all of Greenwood and Mrs. Frank (Clara) Pieper of Loyal and one stepson, Charles Neuman.


Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Loyal, Rev. J. C. Langholz officiated. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.


The pallbearers were Hugo Lenz, Loren Lenz, Otto Roeh, Gilbert Rohde, Art Syth, Lige Niman.
