OBITUARY OF MRS. W.H. LITTLE


Charlotte Adella Jordan
was born in Exter Township, Green County, Wis., Oct. 30, 1875. Here she grew to womanhood and on Aug. 11, 1898, she was united in marriage to William H. Little of Dayton, Wis. Seven children were born to this union, two boys and five girls, two girls having preceded her in death.


For many years the family resided on a farm in the town of Beaver, Clark County, and moved to La Crosse this spring, where she passed away at her home at 1929 Onalaska Ave. June 28, 1936, having reached the age of 60 years, 7 months and 28 days.


Early in life she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was ever ready and willing to perform a Christian service and to help those who were less fortunate than herself.


She is survived by her husband and five children, Earl, Eleanor and Leona of La Crosse, Ona W. of Greenwood and Katherine (Mrs. Leo Klessig of Owen, nine grandchildren, six brothers, threes sisters and a host of friends.


Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis.
