Sylvia M. Wilson, 73, Owen, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 1999 at the Hospice Ward at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, WI.

Sylvia was born on August 1, 1925, a daughter of John and Mary (Julia) Hautamaki. On July 8, 1944, Sylvia married William Wilson at St. Katherine's in Owen, WI. She was employed at Owen Withee Elementary School as a janitor in the late 1970s and also worked as a bartender at Kitze's Bar and at Dave's Steak House in the kitchen for several years.

Sylvia is survived by one daughter, Wendy Anderson of Greenwood, WI and two sons: Dennis (Phyllis) and Richard Matt (Marlene) Wilson of Owen, WI seven grandchildren two sisters: Ella Kivisto of Negaunee, MI and Evelyn Quelle of Owen, WI. She was predeceased by her husband, William, September 7, 1964 one sister, Esther Buss and five brothers: William, Vandy, Reino, Ruebin, and Edward Hautamaki.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 9, 1999, 1:00 p.m. at the Vet's Club in Owen, WI. The Cremation Society of WI served the family.
