OBITUARY OF ANDREW ELLSWORTH WEST

Andrew Ellsworth West was born in Calumet County, Wis., Nov. 29, 1877, and died at Christie, Clark County, Wis. Oct. 25, 1927.

Mr. West leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Grace West and five children, Mrs. Vivian Bartelt of Greenwood, Mrs. Nina Drew, Greenwood, and the Misses Irene, Blanche and Mildred at home, also an aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace West of Elcho, Wis., and seven brothers and two sisters, Nelson, Mark and Dewey of Elcho, Wis., Earl and Clyde of Williston, N.D., Leon of Loyal, Wis., Dale of Edgerton, Wis., Martha of Elcho, Wis., and Olivia of Ft. Atkinson, Wis., besides many other relatives and friends.

Mr. West has lived in Christie for more than thirty five years. His sudden departure was not only a great shock to his family but to the whole community.

He was a kind and loving husband and father and a good neighbor. He was a member of the church, he attended its services and helped with his means and labor in the interests of the church. We shall miss his presence and his voice in song in the home, in the community and in the church.

Funeral services were held at the Lowe undertaking parlor at Neillsville Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The body was laid to rest in the Neillsville Cemetery. Rev. D.S. Householder of this city officiated.
