ROBERT WERLE


Robert F. Werle, 95, Spokane, Wash., and a native of the Town of Loyal, Clark County, died Friday evening, Jan. 7, 1977 at a Spokane hospital following a brief illness.


Services were held at Spokane Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m.


Robert F. Werle was born in the Town of Loyal, Dec. 18, 1881, and was educated there. He left that area many years ago, and has resided in the state of Washington. His parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Werle established a farm in the Spokeville area, where they cleared the land and constructed buildings.


Survivors include his wife, Minnie, of Spokane, and one sister, Miss Ella Werle, Owen, and formerly of the Town of Loyal.


He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
