OBITUARY OF HILDA SORENSON


Hilda Amelia Sorenson was born April 3, 1899, in the town of Longwood. Her death occurred Saturday morning, Aug. 20th, 1921, at the age of 22 years, 4 months and 17 days.


Hilda was an active member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church and Sunday School. She had a winning and pleasing personality, which won for her a host of friends, who with relatives, will greatly mourn her departure.


Funeral services were held Monday afternoon and the body was laid to rest in the Longwood Cemetery, Fev. Aaberg of Greenwood, officiating.


Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Hans Olson of Chicago, Mrs. Olette Hanson and Mrs. O. A. Anderson of Stevens Point, Mrs. Inga Firnstahl, Ed Nelson, Misses Bernice and Ruby Nelson of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Erickson of Larsen, and Miss Norman Bronson of Chetek.


Hilda leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Sorenson, two brothers, Carl W. and Henry Sorenson, and three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Jackson, Mrs. Rudolph Erickson and Jennie Sorenson, and one sister Mrs. Amy Erickson, having preceded her in death.
