ALBERT ROADT


Albert Roadt, 86, formerly of Spencer, died at the Marshfield Convalescent Center, Monday, Oct. 11, 1976. Funeral services were held at the Rux funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 14, 1976 at 1:30 p.m. Mr. Lloyd Domres (Jehovah's Witnesses) officiated and burial was in the Town of Beaver, Clark County Cemetery.


Mr. Roadt was born Jan. 16, 1887 in the Town of Krock, Kewaunee County. He moved to the Town of Beaver in Clark County in 1908. He married the former Eva Bauer on May 15, 1911 at Neillsville. They farmed in the Town of Beaver until 1939, when they moved to the Town of McMillan and then lived there for 14 years. They moved to Spencer and reside there for 15 years. He entered the Convalescent Center after the death of his wife in 1968.


He was a member of the Town of Beaver School Board for several years.


He is survived by one brother, Mr. Joe Roadt, Milwaukee and one sister, Mrs. Helen Polze, Milwaukee and several nieces and nephews. Two daughters died in infancy.


Pallbearers were Guy Langfeldt, Jack, Thomas, and Timothy Langfeldt, and Gary and Ricky Lavene.
