OBITUARY OF MRS. WM. POTTER


Mrs. Wm. Potter died at her home in Greenwood, Clark County, Thanksgiving Day at the age of sixty six years.


Mrs. Potter was born in the Town of Clyman, Dodge County, Wis. in 1855.


She received her early education in the district school of her native town and in the city schools of Watertown.


She taught school for a number of years and about thirty five years ago married to Wm. Potter of Cambridge, Wis.


She and her husband resided on their farm in Cambridge for a number of years. About 18 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Potter moved with their family to a farm five miles south of Greenwood. Here Mr. Potter died ten years ago last August.


Mrs. Potter was well and favorably known and was loved and respected by all her friends and neighbors. This fact was so beautifully shown by their thoughtful kindness and expressions of sincere sympathy during her illness, death and burial.


Mrs. Potter is survived by four sons, William and Homer of Greenwood Arthur of Chippewa Falls Ray of Paterson, Cal. two daughters Mary of Greenwood Frances of Reseberg, Ore. two sisters Mrs. John Payne of Milwaukee Mrs. John McNally of Clyman, Wis. and four grandchildren.


Funeral services were held fro St. Mary's Catholic Church Tuesday, Rev. Achtlich officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.
